Fusion Publishing

A Better Way to Bring Books to Life

Publishing a book as a new author is much like starting a company. You you have to wear many hats beyond just writing, including creative development, business operations, and marketing. But for most new authors, the biggest hurdle isn’t writing the book—it’s knowing what you don’t know. The guidance you need is stretched thin, confusing, or locked behind gatekeepers who only invest once success is already proven.

At the same time, a wave of low-quality, AI-generated content is flooding the market—clogging agents’ and publishers’ inboxes, confusing readers, and making it even harder for quality, human storytelling to stand out.

Navigating this treacherous landscape leaves many talented voices stranded in the dark—buried in slush piles, self-publishing without curating their work, or giving up entirely.

Revenant Creative Studio brings a better way, and opens a new market: Fusion Publishing, which sits between Self Published and Traditional Publishers.

Instead of relying on a single editor, agent, or fickle intern to decide what deserves to be seen, Fusion Publishing brings together authors, artists, editors, and marketers into a collaborative incubator. Like a chain reaction, creative energy compounds as each contributor fuels the next.

The Fusion development process not only streamlines the path to publication—it also draws inspiration from Pixar’s story-driven collaboration and agile software development methods while following professional-grade standards that ensure every book meets or exceeds traditional publishing quality.

Think of it like a writers’ group—but built for the entire publishing journey, from concept to holding your book and growing your fanbase. Authors move through development together, not alone—receiving structured feedback, mentorship, and collaborative support at every stage.

And when one author succeeds, they help power the next—keeping the creative engine alive.

The result? Books that resonate. Authors who thrive. And a publishing model built for today’s storytellers—not yesterday’s industry.

How to Participate?

We’re still refining the process with a small group of contributors before opening it up to a wider audience. Ultimately, it involves authors, editors and other creative contributors helping one another through each stage as their work matures.

As time allows, we’ll add more details here about the process, including guides on creating your story spine, storyboard, marketing plan, and even your business plan.

While public applications aren’t open yet, you’re welcome to join us on our Discord server.
